Here's a truly extraordinary dress from Dolce & Gabbana's most-expensive and most-exclusive COUTURE line - NOT the runway line, NOT what you see in the ad campaigns, it's WAAAAY more exclusive than that!
No, this comes from their "Special Piece" range, the hyper-limited-roduction pieces which are designed for the red carpet - usually UNDER FIVE are produced in the whole world.
The Special Pieces are the ones which have the most intensive detailing, the finest fabrics, the most glamorous designs, and the most painstaking embroidery and beadwork.
The main fabric of the dress is this sumptuous 100% silk done in a scarlet-red base with an explosion of yellow and pink roses.
I'm not sure what this kind of silk is called: it has the floatiness of a dense chiffon BUT has a satin-y sheen and the most sumptuous hand - it feels absolutely incredible on the body, I've never seen anything quite like it!
The silk is cut with lots of gathering so that there's actually a lot of fabric for a beautiful fall and a lot of swooshiness when you walk - let alone dance!
The bodice has an elegant fold-over high collar, and the silk is gathered under the breasts (which enhances your cleavage).
At the waistline - my favorite part - are those thousands and thousands of shimmering silver-and-lilac paillettes. When light hits it, it turns into a waterfall of silver and it looks almost like a shiny metal corset.
The "corset" part is tailored exactly to the body for a nipped-in waist - your curves really are molded and highlighted for display!
At the hip, the skirt is once again gathered for tons of swish!
At the back, the dress is highlighted by the exterior red-and-silver zipper!
The red-silk parts are lined in red 100% silk crepe and the waist is lined in a lilac silk satin.
The dress also comes with a matching lilac silk-satin slip. The slip features romantic chantilly lace at the bodice and the hemline.
This is obviously a stunning piece, a part of fashion history and ready to be the star of the hautest of couture closets!
The dress is guaranteed authentic and is brand new and never worn with tags attached. Please note, the seams on the waistline are not sequinned over, so if you see the vertical breaks of shine in the photos it's simply the seams.
