These 2 flute tools are designed specifically for high speed machining in aluminum. This roughing tool will plunge, slot and profile in all non-ferrous materials. Use of ZRN coated tools for higher speed rates and better tool life. ZRN coating does not have an affinity for aluminum and will also work well in brass and bronze applications.
These 45 degree tools are designed to slot and profile in stainless steel and other similar alloys. The 3 flute geometry is designed for higher speeds and feeds while providing a shearing action that produces excellent finishes. TiALN coating increases the SFM 40%.
This tool incorporates the ultimate in variable helix geometry for carbide endmills. Our flute configuration results in a harmonics shift, resulting in minimal chatter and an exceptional finish. Great for slotting, roughing, ramping, and finishing while reducing cycle time and extending tool life. Performs very well in a wide range of alloy steels, cast iron, stainless steels and titanium alloys.
This rougher is designed to remove maximum material with minimum vibration or chatter. This tool will work in hardened steels, titanium, inconel, and other space age materials while milling faster than conventional finishing endmills.
This is what your end mill assortment can look like in the first three drawers of your brand new Lista cabinet. All those dividers that you see, both horizontal and vertical, come with the Lista cabinet, and we are sending you a complete assortment of pressure-sensitive labels so you can label every drawer with the size, length and replacement cost. These end mills have a sinusoidal chipbreaker form which produces small chips, allowing them to be run at faster feed rates than conventional tools, resulting in high material removal rates. They produce a rough finish which usually requires a finishing pass with a conventional tool. They are designed to machine difficult materials such as high temperature alloys, percipation hardening stainless steels and high alloy steels. The 8% cobalt content assures high edge hardness at elevated temperature levels. The additional chip breakers produce finer chips which are more easily flushed away, reducing the possibility of re-cutting and chip packing. The stub length provides rigidity and reduces deflection. They can be used for general purpose rough milling including profiling slotting and pockets. They will also plunge cut. A variety of surface treatments are available to improve performance.
