6'x9' Blue ChromaKey Backdrop

6'x9' seamless Blue ChromaKey Backdrop. Made from Heavy Duty Synthetic Fabre for easy care and durability. It is water proof and dirt proof.

This special purpose backdrop lets the photographer easily separate the model's image from the background and transplant it onto other preferred background (natural or backdrop) at a later day. You don't need anything much bigger than the actual height and width of the model and 6'x9' is ideal for this purpose.

This is a very versatile background. You can create hundreds of different effects by transplanting your image into thousand of different backgrounds in just a minute.

I did the above examples in less than 30 seconds each in Photoshop. Here's how I did it the quick and dirty way. You may have a more sophisticated technique that may give you even better result.

I selected the Magic Wand tool and set the tolerance to 100. Click on the blue background. Then hold down the Ctrl key and click on any blue area that was not selected in the first pass. Once I am satisfied that all the blue background has been selected, I Inverted the selection so the model's image is now selected. Then I opened a different backdrop image and I dragged and dropped the model's image onto the new background. All this in less than 30 seconds.

This is a NEW background.

This backdrop will be shipped folded carefully in a large box. It may arrive with some wrinkles. However, after you unpack the backdrop and curl it up in a roll, the wrinkle will disappear after a few days. To speed up the unwrinkling process, you may use a warm iron (do not use hot iron) over a piece of wet cotton to flatten the wrinkles. You don't need to have a 100% flat background to achieve the result. Just no hard wrinkles will be all right.
