Dolphin Days Summer Fest

Entering its fourteenth year in 2008, Hilton Waikoloa Village celebrates Dolphin Days with a big splash. Dolphin Days is an annual four-day festival of events inspired by the playful dolphins at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Dolphin Quest Learning Lagoon and is designed to benefit the Pacific Marine Life Foundation and Hawaii Shriners Hospital for Children. Events include an opening blessing and Mahalo reception, an exclusive luau, golf and tennis tournaments, dolphin programs and the signature event- The Great Waikoloa Food, Wine and Music Festival. Over two dozen of Hawaii 's most talented chefs will prepare culinary specialties, paired with a wide selection of fine wines, brews and spirits and world-class jazz entertainment.
Fourth of July BBQ

Dolphin Dash

The Dolphin Dash is a four mile fun run or walk and a Keiki Run for children 12 and younger. Registration is from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m., the Dash begins at 8 a.m., and the Keiki Run begins at 9:30 a.m. The races start at Hilton's Ocean View Terrace and run through the Waikoloa Beach Resort. After the races, enjoy the Awards Ceremony & Pool Party with food, beverages, entertainment and more. The entry fee is $25 for the Dash and $15 for the Keiki Run and includes a race t-shirt and the Pool Party. There is a $5 discount for families with three or more competitors. After August 14 entry fees increase by $10 and t-shirts are not guaranteed. This is a Dolphin Days benefit race series for Hawaii Shriners Hospital for Children and the Pacific Marine Life Foundation.
Oktoberfest

Palm Terrace celebrates Oktoberfest from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Featuring your favorite German foods, beer, and live music. Menu includes Bavarian lentil soup, German sausage selections, smoked pork loin, sauerbraten with red cabbage, sauerkraut, warm potato salad, boiled parsley potato, steamed rice, crispy potato pancakes with sour cream, homemade spaetzle, braised beef rouladen, a salad buffet, and a wide selection of delectable desserts including German chocolate cake. The cost is $42 plus tax and gratuity for adults; $21 plus tax and gratuity for children ages 5 – 12.
Ironman Triathlon World Championship

The Ironman Triathlon has become one of the world's most prestigious endurance events. Tens of thousands of spectators line the home stretch, and nearly five million more watch the event unfold on television. The race includes a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike race, and a 26.2-mile marathon. Competitors have 17 hours to finish! Help hand out water and fruit at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Aid Station and cheer on up to 1,800 competitors ages 18 to 80 from 50 plus countries as they zoom past.
Halloween Spooktacular

Join Hilton Waikoloa Village for a spooky Halloween celebration. Enter the costume contest and win great prizes or get a fright in the haunted house. There will be fun games with prizes, a benefit silent auction, face painting, cookie decorating, and a DJ. Food and retail items will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Na Lima Hana, Hilton Waikoloa Village 's community service committee.
Kona Coffee Cultural Festival

Hawaii 's oldest food festival, the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, is the only coffee festival in the United States . The festival encompasses over 30 events at various locations on the Big Island of Hawaii and celebrates the annual coffee harvest, one of the most economically significant harvests on the Big Island . The Miss Kona Coffee Scholarship Pageant is held at Hilton Waikoloa Village .
USTA Futures Tennis Tournament

Kohala Tennis at Hilton Waikoloa Village will host the USTA Pro Circuit Tennis Tournament- Hilton Waikoloa Village Futures in our newly renovated and shaded tennis stadium. This 6 th annual, $15K tournament is free and open to the public. Volunteers are welcome.
Moku O Keawe International Festival

The Moku O Keawe International Festival is a 5-day celebration of hula and the arts of hula, expressed in many forms. The Festival includes a Hawaiian music Concert, Hula Competition and Final Night Performance, Cultural Workshops, and a Hawaii Marketplace. Hula Halau (troupes) from Hawaii , Japan and across the world compete in Kupuna (senior), Kahiko (ancient), and Auana (modern hula divisions. Events and workshops are held throughout the Waikoloa Beach Resort.

Packed for pick-up in a sturdy box, the food items are in vacuum packed pouches or aluminum roasting containers and come with instructions for reheating on Thanksgiving Day.
Na Lima Hana Holiday Craft Fair

Over 100 crafters from the Big Island will showcase their unique arts-and-crafts collectibles from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. Items range from Hawaiian quilts and wood carvings to holiday ornaments and jewelry. There will also be live entertainment, food available for purchase, a silent auction, pictures and boat rides with Santa, children's games, and a Farmer's Market on the 25 th . Proceeds benefit United Way and the Hawaii Island Food Bank. On the 28 th , one dollar or a canned good item is required for entry and donated to the charities.
