Here's a little bit about Osada Steve...
Osada Steve learned his rope the hard way, by apprenticing under the late Osada Eikichi. After living one year each in India, Thailand, and Hong Kong, and extensively traveling throughout much of Asia, Osada Steve settled in Japan. He first met his mentor Osada Eikichi during a 1998 photo shoot, and soon started helping during stage performances, studying his style of kinbaku until Osada Eikichi's death in 2001. He continued his teacher's shows under the stage name Osada Steve. Since 1999, Osada Steve has done thousands of performances and events. He is very active performing on stage, in front of the camera, directing videos, running rope seminars, or giving private tuition in the Japanese art of Shibari.
