ONE OF A KIND VINTAGE SIGNED CELEBRITY ROOM MENU SIGNED BY MICHAEL, RANDY, AND MARLON JACKSON AUTOGRAPHED IN LAS VEGAS NEVADA IN THE LATE 1970'S.

Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009), the "King of Pop", was an American musician and one of the most commercially successful and influential entertainers of all time. His unique contributions to music and dance, along with a highly publicized personal life, made him a prominent figure in popular culture for four decades.
Alongside his brothers, he made his debut in 1964 as lead singer and youngest member of The Jackson 5, and began a successful solo career in 1971. His 1982 album Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time, with Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), and HIStory (1995) among the best selling. He is widely credited with having transformed the music video from a promotional tool into an art form, with videos for his songs "Billie Jean", "Beat It" and "Thriller" making him the first African American artist to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. With stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound, vocal style and choreography inspired numerous pop, rock, R&B and hip hop artists, while also breaking down cultural, racial and generational barriers.
One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements feature multiple Guinness World Records—including the "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time"—13 Grammy Awards, 22 American Music Awards (20 only as a solo artist, including one for "artist of the century"), 17 number one singles (including the four as a member of the Jackson 5), and estimated sales between 350 million and 750 million records worldwide.[1] He was also a notable philanthropist and humanitarian who donated and raised millions of dollars through support of 39 charities and his own Heal the World Foundation.

STATEMENT OF PROVIDENCE WHICH WILL ACCOMPANY THIS ITEM
" I explained that the menu was signed by the Jacksons in the 70's when my parents went to Las Vegas and were dining at the Celebrity Room at the MGM Grande Hotel (now destroyed). During dinner the Jackson's came through and my Mom asked for signatures. The three that you see "Michael" "Randy" "Marlon" came to sign for her. My Dad gave this to my daughter back in the 80's during "Thriller" craze. We took my daughter to Disneyland at that time and Michael was on our ride with the little "Webster" with him. My daughter has Cerebral Palsy and Michael came over to her and signed her T'-shirt. We will put this on for bid soon. I believed my parents when they told us that they got the autographs from the 3 Jacksons and gave the menu to my daughter. So, that is how I know it is authentic."

BACKGROUND TO THE JACKSONS
In 1975, Joseph negotiated a new recording contract with CBS Records, who offered a royalty rate of 20% per record, compared to Motown's standard 2.8%; and would allow the Jackson brothers to write and produce their own records and play their own instruments. After unsuccessfully attempting to talk the group into staying on the label, Motown sued for breach of contract. Although Motown eventually let the group go, The Jackson 5 were forced to change their name to The Jacksons, because Motown retained the "Jackson 5" trademark during the settlement of the lawsuit. The Jacksons also replaced Jermaine with the youngest Jackson brother, fourteen year old Randy, since Jermaine chose to stay with Motown and his father-in-law Berry Gordy (In 1973, Jermaine married Gordy's daughter Hazel). Randy had been an unofficial member of The Jackson 5 since 1972, playing congas onstage as part of their live act.

RANDY JACKSON
Although he (and his younger sister Janet) had made many guest appearances with the Jackson 5, Randy didn't officially join the family band until 1976, when they changed their name to The Jacksons and signed with Epic Records. At the age of 16, he co-wrote The Jacksons' most successful single on Epic, “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)”. He is widely thought of as the most talented instrumentalist of the Jackson brothers, playing congas, drums and other percussion instruments, keyboards and piano, bass, guitar. In addition to singing and playing on the Jacksons' recordings, he also worked with his brother Michael on his solo recordings, including the hit Off the Wall album.
Jackson was able to participate fully in the Jacksons' 1981 Triumph Tour and in the band's later projects. After the record-setting Victory Tour in 1984, Michael and Marlon left the band. Randy and his remaining three brothers later made one last album, 2300 Jackson Street.
On June 25, 2009, brother Michael died after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home. On July 7, 2009, Jackson attended Michael's memorial service along with his brothers and family.

MARLON JACKSON
While brother Michael and Jermaine were the main attractions of the group, all five Jackson brothers sang lead spots on various songs. Marlon's voice can noticeably be heard on "Feelin' Alright", "Little Bitty Pretty One" and "Corner of The Sky". His singing took the most active roll in the 1973 G.I.T.: Get It Together album. Particularly in the last minutes of the song "Mama I Gotta Brand New Thing (Don't Say No)". Eventually a dispute with Motown led to the group's split from the label in 1976, whereupon they signed with Epic Records. After the departure of Jermaine and inclusion of youngest brother Randy in the move, the group would change their name to "The Jacksons". All of the brothers took a more active role in their music and it was Marlon who filled in for Jermaine's vocal parts when they performed the old Jackson 5 songs.
On the debut Jacksons albums Marlon sang lead spots on "Strength of a Man" and "Man of War". However it was the Destiny and Triumph albums that returned the brothers to the top of the pop charts. In the finale of Triumph Marlon shared a duet with brother Michael entitled "Give it Up". The return of Jermaine to the group in 1983 after their reunited performance at Motown 25 led to a new album and tour, both titled Victory in 1984. For the Victory album Marlon wrote, produced and sang his first solo lead on the single "Body". In the music video for the single Marlon can be seen riding a motorcycle and leading a troupe of dancers. Despite the success of both the album and tour, monetary problems and rumored accounts of the brothers' egos led to the collapse of the Jacksons as a group. Michael announced his exit from the group at the end of the tour while Marlon stunned family members by announcing his split a year later. Leaving The Jacksons as a quartet of Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Randy for their final album, 2300 Jackson Street. However Michael and Marlon would join their brothers on the albums title single.
On July 7, 2009, he and his family offered their final eulogies for Michael, saying he was the "soul" of the family, and breaking down as he tearfully addressed the crowd: "Maybe now Michael, they will leave you alone"[1] and "I would like for you to give our brother, my twin brother, Brandon, a hug for me" [2]. Marlon fought back tears as he said "I love you Michael & I miss you" [1].
