On 09-May-08 at 20:52:25 EDT, seller added the following information:Since 2006 a new joystick control is used on loader models equipped with Selectable Joystick Control (SJC). Features of the new design include an improved mechanism and fully sealed electronics in the handle and base. The new joystick is designed to provide much longer service life. The mount is new also, and is square shape (versus round) - this is the easiest way to identify the new joystick. There is no functional change to joystick oeration.Joystick button location and appearance has not changed. Some cab decals are new, optimized for visibility with the new joystick shape. The handle, boot, joystick assembly and mount of the new design are available separately for service. The boot is easier to replace than the old design. The new design is the service replacement for older machines. When replacing an old joystick with the new design, both joysticks and mounts must be replaced and an adapter harness added. THIS JOYSTICK KIT # 7126558 is available for this purpose. Installation time is approximately 1-1/2 hours.instructions are included.
