PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS E-MAIL.  THESE ARE IMPORTANT VANITY INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS YOU MUST FOLLOW!
 
Your vanity order recently shipped out to you.  To follow are instructions should you happen to have damage on your shipment.  All our vanities are inspected prior to being shipped to insure there is no damage before it leaves our warehouse. 
 
Please make sure you inspect your product PRIOR to signing any papers indicating you received your product(s).  If the agent refuses to allow you to inspect the vanity top, then simply write where you are asked to sign the shipper receipt, "Agent refused to allow inspection."  Then sign.   (This is your legal right.)
Then immediately inspect your product, there on the spot, even if they refuse to allow inspection before signing.  Immediately check your product before leaving the terminal, this way if there is damage you can give it back to the shipper.  This is impossible to do once you have left with the product.
 
Attached are pictures to show you how our product is shipped out, so you will know how it should look upon arrival.  We start with a pallet, we screw down a piece of plywood on top of the pallet and place the vanity box on it.  We then strap or tie down the box to the pallet, then we screw in wood around the base of the box to assure it does not move.  The entire thing is then shrink wrapped.  On top we place at least 2 cardboard cones which say in bold red letters: Do Not Stack On.  If the Tip N Tell or either of the cones are missing this is a huge red flag.
 
Defective Items:  We take great pride and care in our product handling. However we still ask, for your protection to open the top of your box immediately upon receipt, notify the delivery driver, if there is damage and make note immediately on the shipper receipt before signing anything. 
If there is irreparable damage, i.e., broken sink or stone top, refuse the delivery and call us immediately.  (marble tops cannot be replaced, therefore cracked or broken marble tops are irreparable.)
 
Please note:
Perhaps you've heard the expression, "Possession is Nine Tenths of The Law."  That is why once you sign for the product and take possession of it the shipping company goes from 90% responsible for product safety to only a 10% chance of responsibility. 
 
If you receive a vanity with a damaged top and follow the above procedures we can usually send your replacement vanity immediately with out even waiting for it's return.  However if you fail to follow these procedures as described above, we will not be able to credit you for, nor replace your damaged vanity until the shipping company pays your claim.  However please remember that if you fail to  open the top of your box immediately upon receipt and / or write where you are asked to sign the shipper receipt, "Agent refused to allow inspection,"  the shipping company can then simply say, "the customer must have damaged it after it left our facility."
 
Help us Protect You, Follow these Rules!!!
 Once you sign for the product and take possession of it, you are considered its legal owner.  However if you properly make the notation as previously stated, "Agent refused to allow inspection" you'll give us the legal basis for making a claim against the shipping company and remove your liability in the process.  If you fail to follow these rules, although we will do all we can to assist you to file your own claim,
you will have assumed all responsibility and removed our ability to handle the problem for you!  Please Follow these Rules!!!

If you are returning the vanity for any reason other than damage, you are responsible for the shipping fees you paid to ship it to you and for the shipping fees & insurance to ship it back to us. You are responsible to package the vanity the same way it was when it was shipped to you.  We will issue a refund for the vanity price only, once it is received back at our warehouse with no damage.
