75 Button Quail Eggs for hatching, Incubator Ready

This auction is for 70 Button Quail Hatching Eggs(Chinese painted quail) .   A few extra will be sent if available.   I have several different color mutations.  Most of them can be seen in the pictures.    Some of the mutations I have are SILVER, NORMAL WILD TYPE, RED BREASTED, BLUE FACE, CINNAMON, PEARL, WHITE, SPLASH and different combinations of the mentioned mutations. The pictures show A MALE of each mutation and a white chick next to a quarter.    No pearl is shown but the male pearl looks about like the Normal wild type male.  The hen in the pearl mutation has barred feathering sort of like a barred rock chicken only in whatever color mutation the quail is.  I tried hard to get some good pictures.  I do not believe the pictures do the birds justice.   The quail are housed together or Colony bred in Five different groups with most all the color mutations in each group.    The only exception is one pen of white and splash birds that are kept seperate.  The eggs are gathered twice a day and kept in a cool place. They are tilted twice a day.   The birds are kept inside with natural and artificial light.   Shipping and box charge will be a set fee of $9.99 via USPS priority Mail.   The eggs will ship as soon as possible after the auction is complete and payment is received.  Fresh eggs will be shipped if you pay quickly.   The box will be marked "FRAGILE" and "Hatching eggs".  This is a PAYPAL auction only.  I can not guarantee any hatch rate.  Shipping can be hard on eggs.   I do not control the handling of the package or the duration the package is in the USPS mail system.  The eggs will be shipped Priority mail and USUALLY arrive within 3 days of being shipped.   I also do not control  Incubation temperature, turning, and Humidity settings.  I do my best  to make sure the eggs are taken care of properly on my end.  I usually gather the eggs for 3 to 4 days and then ship them the following day.  Slow payment halts shipping on the same eggs.   The pictures show the basic mutations in my birds, however,  you can get many combinations from these mutations.  For Example,  One bird may carry three of the mutations and be a silver Red Breasted blue face, another may carry two of the mutations and be a silver splash  or a cinnamon blue face or a silver pearl or a silver red breasted. 

For those interested in Genetics, Silver, Red Breasted, white and Cinnamon are recessive to the dominant colors.   Normal Wild type, Blue Face, and Golden Pearl are dominant mutations.  Golden Pearl is Lethal in a double dose.  There are no double factor Golden Pearl button quail alive that I am aware of.  Silver pearl and Cinnamon pearl are quite attractive to me.

Shipping and hatching eggs is a gamble--you may or may not hatch enough birds to get a good start.  This is a chance you take by shipping eggs from one place to another.  The eggs can be exposed to wide temperature ranges, vibration or jaring, X-ray machines and altitude change. 

Many believe that X-raying the eggs will kill the embryo.  I have done fairly extensive study by exposing eggs to exray over the years and have found no difference in hatch rate or deformities in the chicks at the X-ray levels used in the mail system.

Quick Payment Via Paypal within 12 hours of the auction ending ensures that the eggs will be shipped fresh and in most cases the next day..  I run the auction so that the eggs should be ready to ship out about the time the auction ends.

Sorry about discrepency in the # of eggs to be shipped---The auction is for 75(Seventy Five) eggs.   I usually ship extra but will guarantee at least 75 eggs.
