All scales are tested before they leave the factory, and we do an additional spot-check before despatch. Though we are confident about the product's quality, occasional problems do arise. These are precision instruments being shipped thousands of miles.

The factory warranty does not cover accidental damage.  Claiming losses through the carriers insurance, can be a long drawn out process.

We offer optional 30 day insurance, that covers everything!  Upon confirmation of any problem we will dispatch a new identical replacement to you on the same business day.

In the event of a problem:

Option 1: STANDARD PROTECTION: 

Carriers insurance(if offered free by carriers) + manufacturers warranty.

Claims procedure: 

Claims for loss or damage during transit or a defect arising in the fi rst 30  days made directly with us.

1) You report a dead/ defective / damaged / lost item to us.

2) We will open a case fi le and ask you to provide us with evidence. 

3) If the claim is cleared, a prepaid shipping label will be faxed or emailed to you.

4) A replacement item will be shipped to you on the same day once we receive a tracking number confi rming your
shipment of the defective item.

Settlement time: 

1-2 days

NOTES:

• Batteries are not covered by our PREMIUM PROTECTION.

• OUR PREMIUM PROTECTION will be exhausted:

1) In the event of a successful claim. Additional PREMIUM PROTECTION must be purchased for replacement items.

2) After the end of 30 cover period.

• All insurances are in addition to our 3 day unconditional return policy (see payment and return section)

Payments have to be made within 3 business days after auction ends. We will have to relist this item

and reprot a unpaided item to ebay, this is the only way to avoid ebay charges for 'sold item'.

We are sorry to have to operate this policy, but it is the only way for us to stop listing fee losses caused by bidders who do not complete transactions.

Return Policies:

1) 3 day unconditional returns

Send us the original working item and all accessories back in the original packaging, for any reason for a full 100%
refund. You only pay for postage costs. After 3 days you can still return a working item back to us for a 65% refund.

2) 7 day conditional returns

If a manufacturing defect causes your item to become faulty within the first 7 days of receipt, send it back to us. We will test it and in the event of a manufacturing error, issue you with a full refund and award postage costs of up to $9.30.

3) After 7 days

Returns must be sent to the manufacturer for repair or replacement unless you have opted for our PREMIUM PROTECTION cover. (See insurance and warranty)
