Large 5 KW Transformer & Power Supply

750 V DC, 5Amp,

With Continuously Variable Controller And Meters

Large 5 KW ( 5000 Watt ) Power Supply with Large, Transformer and DC control. Originally used for a Sputter Coating System. Presently in single standard Rack by MRC ( Materials Research Corporation ), Sputter System although any of the electronics can be used for many other purposes.   If the single Electronics Rack is not wanted, the components can be shipped without it. ( But - typically, such heavy duty electronics racks cost around $1700 to $1900 separately. ) Includes a Large, heavy duty 5000 W ( 5KW) Transformer / Power Supply to provide up to 750 V at up to 5 Amps! Includes very heavy duty cables and connections. DC Voltage and Current are monitored on the front panel with 3 Large 4" easy-to-read meters.    Heavy Duty fan is installed in the inside of the back door.

     The front panel also includes a small panel of switching valves to control flow of two gases ( Argon and Oxygen - or others ) into the experimental system and a timer to monitor reaction / sputtering / deposition time.

     Physical size is 22-1/4" overall width, 29" deep, and 65-1/2" high with a standard 19" rack mount front.   The rack mount holes are spaced approximately every 1/2" and tapped for easy installation of other electronics. Overall weight is about 300# so shipping most anywhere in US will be about $260 to $360. The UTI Mass Spectrometer and Vacuum Controller shown are not included - but available.
