These are amazing incandescent replacement R30 Flood lamps for your kitchen , Hall or other Recessed or Track light bulbs. They put out as much light as a 65 watt normal flood bulb for only 1/5 the wattage!!!.. you save big.. 5 of these use less power than 1 conventional bulb.  I replaced all the bulbs in my kitchen and halls. They are very bright.  There are only 2 negatives to these bulbs -- They are not Dimmable and take aprox. 20 - 45 seconds to get up to full brightness(starts about 1/2 brighness).  They do turn on immediately and do save lots of energy.   I've been using these for over 12 months and for me they are really great.  I am saving lots of energy and they run very cool.  Being cool they are not heating up my kitchen in the summer or roasting my light fixures and wires , like the old halogens I had in there before. The halogen floods were costing me 7 to 8 dollars each... these are much cheaper.
