8 1/2 YARDS OF VINTAGE EMBROIDERED TRIM (1940'S) NR!

We are pleased to offer for auction this week this reel of vintage embroidered trim. The trim measures just over 1 inch in width and is 100 percent cotton, ecru in color with machine embroidered pattern in pink. The trim has one clean edge and one scalloped edge bordered in the same color as the embroidery pattern itself. This type of trim would have been used at the edging of a hemline or in multiple rows. The reel has two large pieces one measuring 4 yards and the other 4 ½ yards making it a total of 8 ½ yards. There is some spotting due to age but overall the trim is intact and would be a wonderful accent when combined with vintage fabric. By the carding and pattern we would date the trim to the 1940's.
