This is a Limited Edition item by the Chokin Art Collection.  It is 24Kt gold rimmed and named "Cherry Blossoms Love Birds." 

This is a beautiful cream colored plate decorated using the "art of Chokin."  The back of the plate explains the colors and materials used.  Part of it ireads as follows: 

Chokin is the ancient Japanese art of engraving copper and gliding it with precious gold and silver and other decorative colors.  This incredible art work first appeared on the armaments of the mighty Samurai Warriors in the late 12th century..............

This plate shows two "love birds" sitting in a cherry blossom tree and is quite exquisite!  There are no nicks or flaws in this plate.  The gold rim is in great condition; just a "tiny" bit starting to wear near the bottom of the plate.
