8 Day Black Forest Cuckoo Clock

This auction is for a 8 day Black Forest Cuckoo Clock made in Germany by the Hubert Herr Clock Company.  Hubert Herr cuckoo clocks are considered to be of finest quality and workmanship.
Hubert Herr is the only manufacturer of cuckoo clocks in Germany making the movements, carvings and also the clock cases in its own premises. All clocks are made out of solid wood and are  hand carved.

This traditional 8 day clock is estimated to be 40 to 50 years old. As can be seen from the pictures the case and the carvings of the clock are in excellent condition. Both hand carved birds on the clock were fitted with glass eyes. The 8 day movement has been cleaned and oiled and the clock has been running keeping accurate time for the last 2 months. The bellows are in great working condition and new tops have been installed. At the top of each hour and half hour the door opens and the cuckoo bird appears bobbing up and down as the clock cuckoos and gongs the time. The clock measures approximately 14 inches high, 10 inches wide, and 7 inches deep. Package will include clock, top piece, pendulum, back door, 2 weights, and set up instructions. 

Every cuckoo clock I sell is professionally serviced and tested before being listed and is very well packed for shipping. As with all old, vintage, or antique clocks this is sold “as is” so please read the description, look over all pictures, and ask any questions prior to bidding. Due to packing and shipping some minor adjustments may have to be made after the clock arrives. It is recommended that all instructions are read before running the clock.
