Beeswax is a great wax for candle making because of its very low shrinkage rate and its increased burn time.
Beeswax has been used since ancient times. It has been known as a very useful product for thousands of years.
 Beeswax was first used as a medicine in the making if salves and healing ointments.
Later it was used in making artificial flowers, wax figures, masks, candles and more.
It is now commonly used in candle making, for batiks, fly tying, waxing wooden windows and drawers, quilting,
cosmetics, furniture polish, leather boot conditioners, marble repair, coating cookie sheets and much much more!
We ONLY carry Fine Quality Yellow Beeswax. We don't carry ANY white(bleached) beeswax.
The bleaching process destroys not only the aromatic compounds of the wax, but also many other compounds of the wax.
 Bleached or white wax does not have the pleasant aroma and is not recommended by us to be used for human consumption. 
Our Beeswax has a melting point between 146 and 155 degrees Fahrenheit.
