EIGHT POUNDS! of pure white beef tallow, used for centuries by soapmakers to create a hard, white, long-lasting and wonderful bar of soap with creamy lather. Tallow is a great economical base oil and can be easily used as the main staple ingredient in all of your recipes (except vegan!!).
It balances nicely - containing 43% oleic, 19% stearic and 24% palmitic acids. You can easily create a fabulous, pure white, rock hard bar of soap using only tallow at about 75% and coconut or palm kernel at 25%. Recommended SAP value .141
This is food grade tallow, manufactured for restaurant use.
