Movie description
Television veterans John Ritter and Katey Segal trade in the risqué comedy of THREE'S COMEDY and MARRIED WITH CHILDREN for the family friendly fun of 8 SIMPLE RULES. When his wife Cate (Segal) returns to the workforce, Paul Hennessy (Ritter) takes a bigger role in the lives of his two daughters and one son. Though the girls may appear to be of dating age to the rest of the world, Paul just isn't ready to cut his daughters loose. He comes up with a series of rules that seem perfectly reasonable to him, such as "If you make my daughters cry, I'll make you cry." His heart is in the right place, but the teens certainly don't agree, resulting in lots of sitcom hilarity. Guest stars such as Cybill Shepherd, Jason Priestley, and Terry Bradshaw stop by to join in the first season fun, and this release includes all 28 episodes.
