You can camp as long as you like on the claim and use it to explore for gold/silver or ny types of minerals you like. This is an unpatented mining claim. You will be bidding on the mineral rights only, not the land itself. You can camp on the land as long as you are prospecting, but you can not build permanent structures. A mining claim is real property- you can sell it, pass it on to your heirs, or use it as loan collateral. It is yours as long as you meet the BLM annual filing requirements before Sept 1 of each year. Currently you can either pay the BLM $140.00 or if you have fewer than 10 claims pay $10 and file a small miners waiver. The fees are paid until Sept 1, 2010. After that date it is the buyers responsibility.

AND IN THE ROCK. THERE ARE ALSO LOTS OF COOL LOOKING ROCKS THAT CAN ALSO BE MINED, IT'S NOT JUST A GOLD CLAIM IT'S ALSO SILVER QUARTZ AND OTHER MINERALS.
