80S 50'S BLACK LACE/GOLD DRESS CIRCLE SKIRT S/M 34B 28W
Note some of the pictures may have been lightened for you to get a better idea of the lines of the garment.
Up for grabs!
Maker:
Unknown
Vintage:
80's does 50's...
Materials:
No tag found for that but my guess is the lace is nylon and the lining is acetate.
Style:
The bodice is spaghetti straps with gold lame ruffles and bow. Now if don't like the lame and you really want to rock the 50's style this lame' looks like it could be removed with a seam ripper if your up to the task. Anyway, the skirt is a circle skirt and can take a fluffy petticoat if you desired. Zipper in the back.
Condition:
Excellent nothing to note.
Measurements:
*Imperative to check your measurements with the measurements of the garment. Be sure to leave some breathing room. If you have a 29" waist and there is not stretch to the item chances are you won't be able to breath, another thing to do is use my measurements and measure your clothes in your closet. Vintage is rarely consistent with todays sizing*
For reference my mannequin is 6ft and about a size 2/4 it may be pinned back on her for proper fit.
Sizing- Use my measurements as the sizes in the title are for reference only. Bust-17" underarm to underarm over the bust taken with garment laying flat.
Stomach-14" across
Hips-free
The bodice is 8-1/4" from the underarm to wear the skirt starts and 12" from the top of the bust wear the strap starts to the bottom of the bodice at the skirt if that makes sense.
Length- 45-1/2" total and 36-1/2" from the underarm down.
If you do a buy it now I will ship this dress for free. Just be sure to shoot me a email to let me know. Thanks!
Now by bidding on vintage you are aware and recognize this is not a new piece of clothing. This was not picked up at the local mall. If you want new you must buy new. That being said vintage is a wonderful piece of past clothing styles, and when you own a piece of the past you own a piece of history even if its just clothes. Vintage is normally one of a kind to the new owner and one of a kind anywhere. Vintage will have normal aging and wear and tear from being around so long. At Bring-it-back-again you will find no "as is" disclaimers I will tell you about the item truthfully and honestly of any defects or wear and tear I find. No I am not perfect so if your not happy with the item when received I am ALWAYS willing to resolve any issues, I strive for excited and happy customers, customers that come back and customers that love to shoot me emails to say hi and that they are happy with me and the job I do! :)
Please read- My auctions are for serious on time paying bidders. Please do not bid on my auctions if you do not intend to pay with in the 7 day period of which Ebay gives. Communication is the essential for sellers if there is an issue with your payment let me know. I give you the same courtesy when I ship your package. Please let it be known, I do make steps to file an Unpaid Dispute after the 7 days as its much to costly to keep eating the price of listing fees.
Your payment should be received with in 7 days per Ebay policy. Due to the influx of non-paying bidders I have taken to using the Unpaid disputes. If there is an issue with your payment please let me know so there are no misunderstandings as to whether you actually want the item or not. I don't accept personal checks. E-checks are the computers version of a paper check and take 4 to 10 days to clear. I can't ship before it posts to my paypal. Please let me know if you have questions on that.
I will always combine shipping for my customers, and its based on weight as the post office does it I don't have handling fees. Generally I take a loss on shipping as I like to upgrade to priority for my customers sometimes. As I my business grows I will need a lead time of 3 days or so. I try to ship sooner but sometimes need the 3 days. If this time frame doesn't work for you please don't bid. I send out emails to each customer letting them know if their item shipped. If you don't receive a email from me with in 5 days please feel free to inquire.
Please consider the insurance option before you check out.
This is a smoke free home however I do have a dog. If any item I acquire smells of smoke I will mention it and If the item is washable I wash it. However, I don't dry clean before I send out but I won't send out anything that is nasty. But multiple trips to a cleaners is very costly with gas and the cost of dry cleaning. So that keeps cost lost to you to.
Returns are accepted but please be sure of your measurements ahead of time. Remember vintage items are always different in measurements. The dress may read a size 14 and the measurements are for a size 6. Please ask any and all questions on that. I split the shipping cost back to me. I think that is fair to my customers. Most will make you pay return shipping 100%. I will split 50%/50% that way its not a loss for both of us. Thanks.
Thanks!
Please contact me before any returns. So we can come a resolution. Please ask questions and don't be afraid to ask about measurements this cuts down on returns in itself.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
