The first motoring monthly that offered comprehensive features to help the motorist choose what car to buy. Issues invariably included a number of road tests, many of them comparing similar cars in a group test - offering independent comparisons, detailed specifications and a verdict. Used car surveys, buyers guides as well as extensive price lists and specification tables are all usually included. However, these magazines are now very rare. I occasionally purchase magazines in bulk, and it is unusual to find more than one or two issues of What Car in these collections.
Price reflects this scarcity, these magazines are very rare and extremely difficult to get. This magazine has had a quick inspection and seems to be in fairly good condition for its age, although the cover is a bit scruffy. In this issue there is coverage on:

Thank you for looking at my auction The condition of the magazine is based upon a quick flick through. The following criteria to describe the condition of the magazine (relative to its age) Mint (Has this magazine ever been read!), Excellent (read once then stored carefully), Very Good (read a few times, well looked after but maybe small signs of use), Good (probably read several times, signs of use, maybe very minor damage), Fairly Good (obviously been read, some minor damage such as a few creased pages, maybe some writing or the odd mark) Reasonable (a readable magazine, which has been very well read, maybe some tears or other damage). If it isn't in reasonable condition for its age - then I won't try to sell it!
