You are viewing a gorgeous French 'Lilly flower' table hand crafted from the finest oak with a matching set of William and Mary chairs in oak. This is the ultimate for those of you looking to achieve that cosy rustic farmhouse look that is so popula. The table is a large nine foot long and thus can seat 8 people more than comfortably so is perfect for all your dinner party needs.

It's incredibly solid and chunky, this table is built to last and has something of the French provincial rustic to the look. It is elegant enough to go in the dining room and sturdy enough to withstand the vigours of every day family use in the kitchen.

The table sits on the twin posts underneath, adding to its strength, whilst also looking good. We bought this from a dealers in Nantes we regularly visit whilst on our French buying trips.

Then of course we have the matching set of 8 William and Mary style high back chairs. Two arms and six sides. The William and Mary style is from the Tudor era in 17th Century England and again is perfect for those looking for the cosy, rustic, provincial farmhouse look - they also look great in the Great Hall of a castle! These are solid and sturdy, wobble free and very comfortable to sit in - perhaps made even more comfortable with some patterned tie down cushions - a great project for after the purchase so you can match it in with your colour scheme. The chairs are oak and match the table perfectly. They actually have quite a Gothic look to them. They are also incredibly solid and chunky and will last for ever.

We bought the chairs from a dealer in Debenham Suffolk, they are offered in great shape. Get your bids in early.

Please be reassured - we have been shipping valuable and fragile antiques and the like to all parts of the world for many years so it is done professionally. This includes shipping furniture, glass items, ceramics, porcelain and other delicate items. Where necessary the item will be crated - i.e. a wooden structure is built around the object for 100% security in addition to packaging, corrugated cardboard, bubble wrap and other protective materials. All of our shipping quotes include insurance - we have not had to resort to this with any of our transactions to date. All our Antique items are shipped with a 'Declaration Certificate' completed by us to ensure that no import duty or taxes are payable by the purchaser.

We can arrange quotes for you so please contact us - it is the buyers responsibility to pay for shipping although often we will help with this cost depending on the item. On big items shipping costs, especially trans-Atlantic, can be quite high. We are obviously always just passing this cost on - we will also shop around for the cheapest quote to your door. Rates are based on cubic space taken up in the container on the ship and distance for delivery to your door from the nearest port. In many instances we will help spread the load with shipping costs. We are flexible - we can arrange delivery to the nearest port for your own pick up. Average delivery time to US is 4-6 weeks depending where inland the destination is.
