9" French house number door gate plate sign enamel 47

This auction is for a French house number 47.  Used.

Uncommonly large - 6" high 9" wide.

The pinkish tinge down the left is a reflection, not on the number itself.

It is made from vitreous enamel fused onto sheet steel.  Very durable.  Made in 1970s.  Removed from the house itself - as were the others behind it, all to be listed eventually ...

Domed with white enamel in relief, giving it better definition.
