This UV flashlight has a wavelength of 375nm which means that object that fluoresce under UV light will really glow. With this flashlight there is not a lot of visible light, but when shined on an reactive object, it really glows. Other UV flashlight with higher wavelengths produce more of a purple light. So instead of reactive to the UV light, those cheaper UV lights will more like illuminate the objects. This light can be used for money, identification, urine detection, along with a lot of other uses.
