94"x83" Vintage Pair French Bifold Doors 40 Glass Lites

Great pair of double, French bifold doors salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each door is made of solid pine and is painted white on both sides. Together, the doors boast an impressive arrangement of 40 true-divided glass lites..

Hardware: The doors are fully equipped with hardware: 2 glass knobs, 2 brass rosettes, 2 brass keyhole covers, mortise lock, strike plate, 12 hinges, and 3 flush bolts. The mortise lock is missing the latch. We may be able to find and add a latch from our box of parts, or we may be able to replace the entire lock. We didn't go through the trouble of doing that, because we're not sure if you plan to use the hardware, or if you have your own.

Glass: At the point of salvage, the doors had 11 broken and/or missing lites. We replaced and added 11 lites, custom cut from our supply of old, reclaimed windows.

Condition: The doors are strong, sturdy, and in great shape with only minor surface scrapes and scratches. One of the doors has a chipped piece of molding (see last photo).

Besides the lock, the hardware is in good condition and is operational. All of the glass is intact and is also in good condition.

Height: At some point, the doors were unevenly cut--most likely to accommodate an old warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the doors to an even 82 3/4" or shorter--email us for a quote.

Modification: We didn't strip the doors incase you like them as is, or if you would like to have them repainted. However, we could strip (fully or partially if you plan to paint them), refinish or repaint, reduce or increase height or width, remove hardware and patch holes, etc. We could also build a frame for the doors, make casing, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done and we'll give you a quote.

Vintage, bifold double doors are not easy to find. They're even more rare in such great condition--don't miss out!
