I pulled out these tapes the other day from my own personal vault! Recorded to the mac, re-mastered it, indexed it and converted it to CD for you all to enjoy!

You WILL NOT find this anywhere!!!!!

This is the legendary DJ battle between:

  • A-LATIN,
  • DJ LA ROK,
  • DJ MICHAEL TRANCE, &
  • DJ RAUL!!

It was recorded live on the air, recorded in it's ENTIRETY from power 106 FM in los angeles circa Summer of 1995
so it features the dj's mixxing some of thee hottest nightclub & house jammies from that year!

they are quick-mixxing, blending and scracthing with a fury as each dj rocks a 22 minute set, each, live on the air and then judged by a panel and the listeners at home to decide the victor!

Features a bonus progressive house mix by: Dj Speedy K!

also guest judges for the event are: Dj Enrie, frank del rio, swedish egil, & raymond roker of Urb magazine!

HOSTED by none of other than: RICHARD "HUMPTY" VISSION AND TONY B!

you also get to hear snippets of the"Worst Of" mixes, from out of 150 mailed in contestant tapes that year.
