Born in the hills of northern Thailand the Karen hill tribe have been making high purity silver jewelry for centuries. Their masterful jewelry making skills and their lovely hand-sculpted designs in almost pure silver, have been passed down from generation to generation for hundreds of years.

Due to a silver purity of over 95% you will find Hill Tribe silver to be more tarnish resistant than sterling silver (92.5%). Store your Hill Tribe silver in an air tight container and keep it out of direct sun light.

Shipping	At this time everything is shipped via THAI INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL from here in Bangkok. The approximate delivery time is 2-2 ^1/2 weeks from date shipped. We try to have all items shipped the very next day after payment has been confirmed through PayPaL. Often packages are delivered to United States addresses much sooner than even two weeks but please be patient if it takes a few days longer. There can be delays in U.S. Customs. Thai mail is extremely reliable but takes time. Although we can confirm package delivery through registered mail we can not "track" packages unless FedEx shipping is used and the price is $32.00 per .5 Kilo package and must be requested by the buyer. A single item is shipped via Thai International Airmail for $4.75-$6.25 according to the package weight. Additional items won can be shipped together for the cost of $1.60 each. It is very advantageous to purchase more than one item! All items eligible for reduced shipping must be purchased within a 5-day period. Please wait for our invoice.
