***1999 GIBSON LES PAUL CLASSIC 1960 REISSUE***
*Beautiful
and Rare Amber Maple Top, Absolutely IMMACULATE finish, glassy and
smooth with virtually NO BUCKLE RASH and almost no pick scuffing
whatsoever! How often do you see that on an older guitar? *Slim 60's Neck, smooth and fast. *MINT
CONDITION, except for a small nick on the back edge of the headstock
and near the input jack. The binding has hairline checking, which
happens to ALL guitars as they start to antiquate. That's where the
mojo comes from ;) *500T bridge pick-up, 496R neck pickup*1999
vintage, which means NO BODY CHAMBERING. That's right, Gibson started
CHAMBERING the bodies of the Les Pauls to reduce weight, but the weight
of the guitar is where the tone comes from. They've been using weight
reduction for some time now, but by adding small holes inside the body,
not by taking out HUGE CHUNKS of beautiful tone generating wood!
Compare the sound of a Vintage Old Stock or an Older Les Paul to the
sound of the new ones, there is a difference. This Guitar, being made
in '99, is a full 10 lbs., the new Les Pauls are 7.5lbs. *Comes with original hardshell case, which isn't in the greatest condition, but it does it's job well. *MUST SELL TO PAY BILLS. *FREE SHIPPING, FREE INSURANCE!!! *Ship CONUS Only, NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS! This means you Canada. *No Checks, unless its a cashiers check or money order, and even then, it must clear before shipping. *Paypal please add 3% Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!!!
