.999 Pure Sterling Silver Limited Edition Commemorative Millennium Coin Necklace

This is a beautiful .999 Pure Sterling Silver Coin necklace from my personal collection. Since I hardly wear jewelry anymore,  I've decided to liquidate part of my collection.

Pendant:   From the bale, the pendant measures  1 & 3/8" or 34mm in height and 1 & 1/16" or 27mm wide.  It weighs 10.3 grams and is stamped .925 on the bale, but the coin alloy is .999 PURE SILVER.  This necklace is a limited edition that comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.  It was struck by the HIGHLAND MINT and designed by the internationally master sculptor, CAESAR RUFO who's artworks are on permanent display at the Smithsonian.  This piece is timeless and not more than 150,000 were issued. 

The pendant can be worn on either side. One side has the year 2000 with TWO beautiful "raised" Doves facing each other.  The other side also has a "raised" Dove, but in the center of the pendant surrounded by an outer circle of words reading: "The Millennium a time for"; the inner circle reading:  "Faith, Peace, Love, Hope, Unity".  The piece is beautiful.

Chain: The round cable link chain measures 22" long and has a spring clasp. It is stamped .925.  No dents or bends.  All components have been Anti-Tarnish treated per disclosure of the Certificate.

Condition:   High polished finish and shiny.  The side of the pendant where the single Dove is centered, (near the bird's chest) is a very very tiny area that is not as shiny as the rest of the pendant.  It appears as if that tiny area was just not "polished" out enough.

There is also a pinpoint hole at the bottom of the pendant made by the manufactor, but I have no idea what the purpose for that is.   This is a sturdy, beautiful necklace and still looks new.
