Fully bound in genuine leather with gold designs embossed on the covers. The designs depict a formation of Douglas C-47 troop transport airplanes. Luxurious moiré fabric endpapers. The traditional hubbed spine is accented in genuine 22kt gold and the pages are gilded along all three edges. High quality acid-neutral pages. Comes with a sewn-in permanent satin ribbon bookmark.

Comes with its "Collector's Notes" write-up and an unused fixed Bookplate on a front page to personalize your book.

I don't think this book was ever read and most likely just collected and put on a library shelf. The pages are crisp and clean. Endpapers strong and secure. Covers are nice and clean and in wonderful condition. NO inside writing. When laid flat, the upper spine edge curves slightly outward, but this doesn't look like a big deal.

This book has been kept VERY well over the years and is ready for study or display.
