A CURVACEOUS, VINTAGE STYLE BEAUTY!
The base of this handblown glass apothecary jar is curved and generous...like a chalice...deep and bountiful. It rests on a wide, footed pedestal, encircled by a band of clear, sparkling glass.
The lid is gently-domed, double-tiered and capped by a smooth, ball knob.

For at least a hundred years, this type of jar has been a fixture in drugstores, soda shoppes, corner stores and other retail establishments.

Overall measurements are 19" tall x 8 3/4" in diameter, at it's widest point. Footed base is 6" in diameter. Jar opening is 7 1/4" wide.
There are no knicks, chips, or cracks. Jar is flawless except for some slight imperfections which are the result of the glassmaking process. The European handblowm glass is superb: sparkling and crystal clear.
