Hi,i have for sale a good clean Mahogany cased mantle clock that is fully working and comes with a key.This French clock is all original and the CX movement signature matches the case.This has an 8 day movement and strikes no gongs or chimes.The case has mahogany veneer with a boxwood inlay shell type decoration to the front and a boxwood inlay beading for the outer border.The clock measures 10 inches high x 7 1/4 inches wide x 4 1/4 inches deep.The enamelled clock dial is excellent with no chips or cracks and the door has pressed brass frame.The clock keeps good time and is in good condition,there are age related dings,fade spots etc but nothing serious.A key and setup instructions will be supplied,the postage will be £8 to send.Many thanks for looking(;o)

A: Hi Paul,sorry about this.It is the way i have put it.Basically is has no strike at all.It is a single train movement.I hope this helps Barry

 Q: I notice in the photos that the base is out of line! Please can you advise the condition and standard of the woodwork please?
A: Hi,sorry for the delay.I have had a good look at the base and i cant see it out of line.It may be the pics.The bottom right hand corner has a slight gap in the base moulding but thats it really.I hope this helps,Barry
