Description:   This specimen with Diopside Fluoresces a Turquoise color under a Shortwave Ultra Violet light, the Chondrodite Fluoresces Yellow under the Shortwave Ultra Violet light, the Calcite Fluoresces a Red color under the Shortwave light and the Aragonite Fluoresces a brilliant Ligh Blue color under a Shortwave Ultra Violet Light and a duller Light Blue color under a Longwave Ultra Violet Light and is Phosporescent.

  For more information on this specimen, check out pages 141 & 146-148 in an outstanding book called "Collecting FLUORESCENT MINERALS"    by Stuart Schneider 2004 edition.
