Here for auction is a rare old "SUNDERLAND LUSTRE WARE COMPORT" in good display condition. There are a few surface linear defects and one rim chip, normally associated with this type of ware (see pic 2), but the comport is still basically sound with no serious damage.  Naively decorated on three faces with two gentlemen in an orchard before country houses the comport is 3.0" high and 5.0" in diameter, is genuine and authentic and dates probably to about 1850.  I hope the pictures do it justice but if there are any questions, concerns or additional pictures please ask before you bid. Please note all postage must be at least Recorded delivery and preferably Special Delivery.  Anyway it is here to be sold at a low start and no reserve. GOOD LUCK.
