Offered is an old book A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, a novel by Betty Smith, published 1943 Harper & Brothers, this is a wartime edition printed to save paper, each chapter starts immediately after the preceding one, no blank pages to start a new chapter, stated twenty-first edition

Book is 420 pages.  Hardcover with  dj, boards are  greenish color, dj has printing on both sides of it

I would rate book as good, musty odor, paging through I see no tears or writing in book, other than owners name, original price on dj $2.95, dj has lots of edge tears
