"A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" is a wonderful, period novel by Betty Smith.  It was read to me in graduate school by the professor as a model of a great read.  This copy was printed during WW2 so the paper is not of greatest quality and but that, alone is interesting. It is the 21st edition copyrighted in 1943. The cover shows the age appropriately with soft edges and some damage on the binding corners. JUst a comfortable book to read about growing up in Brooklyn. Buyer pays $2.50 postage and handing at media rate.
