A Vision of the Future The Art of Robert McCall Scottsdale Center for the Arts October 24 - December 6, 1981 limited to 2000 copies
This is the limited edition exhibition catalog that came out for the exhibition, prior to, and announcing, the book of the same name. Cool design with a circular cutout on the front cover to see through to the next page's artwork, a spectacular painting of a machine city defying gravity over an island on another planet. Please take a look at the scans I've taken from this catalog - wonderful and optimistic visions of the future! I've also included a scan of the artist's statement, click on enlarge to read it. A total of 32 pages, most with illustrations and most in color. Measures 8-1/2 by 11, silver front and back covers. Includes introductions by; Marvin Schenk, the museum exhibits coordinator, Michael Collins, a member of the Astronaut Crew of Apollo Eleven that made man's first landing on the moon, and Ben Bova, well-known sci-fi writer/editor etc. Also includes the Artist's statement (scanned for this auction), 22 plates of McCall's work being shown in the exhibit, a complete catalog of the exhibit, a vintage photo of McCall working on "The Space Mural - A Cosmic View" in Washington DC in 1976, and Acknowledgments including the stated "2000 copies" on the final page. In great shape, only very slight wear from viewing and storing on the shelf, makes a great addition to your collection of space or science fiction items or Robert McCall art work! I haven't been able to find another copy of this exhibition catalog for sale anywhere! Please read my 'terms' below.

Good luck!!
I PREFER paypal for all bidders.
International bidders please pay by paypal ONLY. US bidders may pay via paypal, OR you have the option to pay via personal check, money order, cashiers check etc, BUT all such payments (except paypal) will be held for two weeks to insure their clearing at my bank. PLEASE wait for the ebay invoice as there will be added charges for shipping and insurance.
I ship worldwide, but outside the US must pay using paypal ONLY. I only charge for the actual cost of packaging and shipping via USPS. I prefer to use priority mail as there is no cost for the box, and therefore no charge for packaging. If you want a cheaper method of shipping, I will have to charge you for the box, often $3+. Insurance is actual cost as well. If you don't want insurance, I cannot be responsible for your item if it is lost or damaged in transit. No exceptions!
This is a used item, not new, and thus will have wear as appropriate for it's age. I try diligently to describe the item to the best of my ability, but I may overlook things, so please ask all questions prior to bidding. There are NO RETURNS unless I have substantially misrepresented the item.
I am an amateur, not a professional. I will attempt to give you the most complete description of the item and it's condition, but may overlook things, so please ask questions if you're not sure or if it's crucial to your decision to bid. Also, I am a working man, so please ask your questions in plenty of time in advance of the auction's end. I will be happy to provide additional photos, if necessary.
You may 'ask a question' via ebay. If you need additional photos, please include your direct email address, as ebay does not allow for attaching photos in the question/answer process. I will respond as quickly as possible, usually within a day or so.
