This is the first Grandmothers Dream quilt we've had!  A cousin to the Grandmothers Flower Garden quilts, each of the 49 blocks is set up in squares instead of circles.  Dating to the 1930's, it's HAND PIECED using cotton prints and solids for the tiny 1" squares.  Measuring 86" x 82", it has a thin cotton batting, a hand applied bright pink zig zag binding, and a creamy white back.  HAND QUILTED squares cover the quilt @ 6 to 8 stitches per inch.  PROFESSIONALLY HAND LAUNDERED, we found no rips, tears, stains or odors.  A BRIGHT & COLORFUL UNUSUAL QUILT!!
