You are bidding on an A.B. Dick Company Model 77 digital controlled paper folder. Machine features a digital display and variable speeds. I am not that familiar with this machine, but according to my research online, this folder will make letter folds, Z folds, double parallel folds, and single folds. It will accommodate paper sizes 6x9, 8 1/2x11, 8 1/2x14, 11x17, and 14x18. Approximate dimensions of the machine are 24"x24"x35". This folder was being used by a local school. As such, it does have minor cosmetic marks from normal use. It is believed to be in full working condition, but please understand my knowledge in testing this type of equipment is limited so it will be SOLD AS IS. I really don’t have a clue how to operate this machine, so if you would like me to test anything specifically, I will be happy to do that, but you will need to email me some instructions. I did plug the machine on and get it to power up. I pressed a few buttons and got it to suck a piece of paper in and make a fold, but then the paper got stuck underneath so I am sure I don’t have something set right. It is possible that the trays are not in the right position, I really don’t know. This machine weighs 140 pounds so UPS shipping is not an option, as they would destroy it in shipping. Local pickup is encouraged on this item, although I am willing to ship if necessary. Please be aware that the item will be shipped with a freight company, basically assembled, and secured to a pallet. PLEASE email me before you bid to ask for a shipping price. Too many times buyers win an auction only to find out that they are not prepared for the shipping cost. If you should win the item on the auction, I will also need a daytime phone number to give the shipping company. They usually call before they attempt delivery so that you can schedule a time that is most convenient. You will also need to have someone available to sign off that the item was delivered in good condition. Please do not accept a delivery on an item that appears to be damaged, as we will have no recourse once you sign off that you have accepted the package as it is. Florida residents are also required to pay 7% sales tax. I do NOT charge a handling fee for local pickup so please use that method if you can.
