ABA Bullet Proof Body Armor Level III-A IIIA 3A Vest L

At auction is one, VERY GOOD condition, Ballistic Resistant, Concealable Armor Vest, with extensive Front, Back and Side Coverage made by American Body Armor and Equipment, Inc. (ABA); the same type of armor used by members of our Nation's dedicated Police and other keepers of the peace. This vest is a MALE size LARGE/REGULAR and includes one DARK BLUE, four point, Velcro adjustable, innerwear carrier with Velcro side closures, and both, removeable, ABA soft armor panels. The front panel is from the 3A-XT-FS-M Series, while the rear panel is from the 3A-GS-FS-C Series. Each panel uses a different ratio of the same protective materials. Both panels are comprised of multiple layers of advanced, ultra-lightweight, ultra-high-tenacity Spectra-Shield sheets and lightweight, high-tenacity Kevlar 129 fabric, stacked and woven together using proprietary multi-hit stitch patterns, for notably flexible, blunt trauma and multi-hit protection. Both panels are encased in a sealed, abrasion and liquid resistant Nylon cover, for added protection. When worn properly, these panels will provide extensive Front, Back and Side Coverage. The majority of soft armor vests auctioned on eBay DO NOT include significant Side Coverage, though the vest being sold here does, and at no additional cost. According to the labels affixed the panels, when it was made, the soft armor of this garment was NIJ Standard 0101.03 Level IIIA (3A) Certified and rated to defeat specific projectiles at specific velocities, including the 9 MM FMJ, 124 GR at 1400 FPS and .44 MAG SWC, 240 GR at 1400 FPS, and all lesser ballistic threats. This vest includes one, internal, Velcro secured, hard armor upgrade plate pocket in the front portion, for the insertion of a hard armor upgrade plate of your own.
