Up for sale is another favorite piece from my personal collection.  The is the much sought after Shepherdess & Fawn figurine w/Gold trim decorations (#3906D).  During my years as a collector, I have found many beautiful pieces and this was one of my favorites.  Unfortunately, it's time for her to find a new home.  I am selling my collection of cookie jars and pottery over the next few weeks.  Watch my listings and eBay Store for the others.

The Shepherdess & Fawn is an absolutely Beautiful piece to add to any Abingdon Pottery collection.  The jar stands approx. 11.5" tall and is white w/gold trim   Designed by the wonderful sculptress, Frances Moody.  The figurine appears to be Great shape with no damage or cracks.  However, there are two spots on it that appear to be rubs on the finish.  One on the front above the fawns head and one on her back to the right side.  These do not detract from her overall beauty and we all know how hard it is to find these anymore, so these little flaws never bothered me.  As old as the pottery is, it's hard to find the rare pieces completely perfect anymore.  I know there are many old and new collectors that would love to add this piece to their collection.  I hate to see her go, but I know that her new owner will love her.
