DESCRIPTION

Offered today is a lovely cut glass rum jug with a thumb button cut in a pattern of hobstars surrounded by fans, separated by a mitered star.  The thumb botton is rayed.  The handle is perfectly annealed without heat checks.  The base of the jug is rayed.  There is no stainging within the jug.  The stopper appears original although I feel there was a chip or something smoothed out as there is a wobble in the stopper.  This jug stands 8" tall and is ~ 5" in diameter including the handle.  The pouring spout is free of chipping.  This jug is cut on a super clear blown blank.  This item fluoresces the greenish yellow color generally considered the gold standard for identifying glass from the brilliant period of American cut glass.

I prefer payment by money order, cashiers check, or personal check.   I can accept paypal, but please email me first before using that option.  I usually ship by UPS and require a valid shipping address.  I ship on the weekend following the receipt of payment.  The shipping for this item will be $16.  If you desire another shipping carrier, I will also calculate that price after the auction is complete.
