weight, acid free watercolor paper This is a very
striking original painting/drawing of an
abstract girl portrait in red, yellow,
pink, violet and orange and blue colors.
The ink line drawing is spontaneous and
raw and very expressive. The acrylic
paint is bright and vibrant and gives the
painting texture. The heavy weight paper
shows through in many places providing
additional texture and interest. This
painting is on paper so you will have to
have it framed. You can get quite a
different 'look' with different frames -
see some examples below.

My artistic influences are
Picasso, Matisse and Peter Max. Each one
of these 'girls' paintings is completely
unique - they come entirely from my
imagination, I do not use any models. I
start painting without any preconceived
notion of what I am going to paint. The
shapes and colors just suggest themselves
to me, I do not think about them. This
spontaneity results in paintings that
radiate strong emotion, personality and
energy.
Note: The actual colors are
vibrant and bright and there are many
subtle hues that may not be visible on
your computer monitor. The colors you see
depend on your monitor's settings. The
painting's colors depend on the color and
intensity of the light that illuminates
the painting.

expressive brushwork and color

postimpressionists Gaughin and
Van Gogh. Do I also see a
hint/influence of the 17th
Century Dutch masters? Rembrandt,
Vermeer. You have successfully
combined these influences with
your talent to come up with
unique style. Keep up the good
