                                     Item Description

The sender fits on a camera's hot shoe and triggers a remote flash, a studio strobe or a flash power pack (up to 3000 W/S) to which the receiver is attached.
The sender contains a tiny user-installable 12V alkaline photo battery and has a function of sleeping mode when in standby status, getting rid of on/off switch. It can trigger some 20,000 times continuously with one battery.

  1. Low trigger voltage ( less than 6V with 0.01mA ), safe to all modern digital/film cameras -- Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji, etc.  As for cameras like Minolta which has a proprietary multi-prong hot shoe, you may use the included 12" pc cord to connect the sender with the camera pc sync socket.

  2. The receiver triggers the flash/strobe/power pack it is attached to at a sync speed up to 1/1000 sec.

  3. The receiver has a standard 1/4-inch(6mm) phone jack plug for attachment to many monolights and other studio flashes that use this type of connection.  It also comes with one 1/8-inch (3.5mm) pc sync plug adapter which is designed for use with studio flash/strobe that use this type of connection. The receiver works well with Britek, Bowens (Bogen), Alien Bees, Elinchrom and Courtenay flash units, etc. 

  4. Effective slave range: 100ft / 30m approx. / Output power < 2mW.  

  5. Easy 4 channel selection.  

To connect :

  1. Unplug the AC power cord from the strobe and plug it into the bottom of the receiver.
  2. Insert the power cord of the receiver into the AC power socket of the strobe.
  3. Insert the PC sync cord of the receiver into the sync socket of the strobe ( the right portion of the above photo shows the completed connection ).

The sender has a Test button so you can trigger your remote flash manually for metering purpose. The sender also comes with a PC sync cord for camera  that does not have a hot shoe but has a pc syn socket.
