This cleat pops up at the touch of a button and functions exactly like a conventional cleat. When it's not longer needed, simply push it back down and it locks in the flush position.
Made of marine grade 316 stainless steel.
Easy to install...use the supplied backing plate as a template to scribe the outline of the cut-out. After cutting out the shape, insert the cleat into the opening and trasfer the mounting holes from cleat into deck. Attach the backing plate and waterproofing cup (sold separately) below the deck. Attach with four 3/16" screws (not included) and four nuts (not included).
