About This Piece:

This neighing horse is painted on 2.5x3.5 inch ACEO art trading card canvas created by sharks yard sale and collectibles. The canvas is of extra fine quality. The best quality Grumbacher oils were used to create it. the style is monochromatic. Meaning the entire painting is done in different shades of one color. I chose brown for this one, since some horses are brown.

This would make an excellent decorative item. Small and affordable, ACEOS make great wallet sized paintings. You can also keep them in art trading card sleeves, ACEO sized frames (You can find them on ebay or any dept store), and picture albums. They can also be used as fridge decorations.

This little painting comes signed and dated by me, Janelle Dixon, on the front and back. The winning bidder will also be emailed their very own EBSQ certificate of authenticity. Painting will also be varnished for protection.

About the Artist:

Currently, I am an artist working out of my own home. I raise rabbits, and pigeons, and have several other pets.

I can paint commissioned pet portraits upon request (see ebay store, or EBSQ profile for more details). I have shown my art all over my county in the past, including our county fair. I also show at the St. Joe County, and hillsdale county fairs every year.

A lot of my work is painted to compete and show. I have won several best in shows, and honorable mentions from showing at the county fairs.

My art has been sold to, and collected in other counties as well as the US.

I am also a member of the Branch County art guild, a large group of artists in the southern part of Michigan that is dedicated to showing and promoting original works of art. I have exhibited my art through them at the tibbitts opera house, and various other locations in the past. Our group even painted a mural in downtown Coldwater MI, of which I was very actively involved in.

I am also EBSQ certifified and participate in alot of their online art shows.

Each of my paintings comes with its own EBSQ certificate of authenticity, signed by me.
