I have been an artist for many years. I work in watercolour and encaustic wax. My paintings have been sold in the UK and Europe and many customers come back again and again.

Encaustic wax pictures are made using vibrantly coloured wax, a small hot iron (like a travelling iron), a heated stylus, various other tools and sometimes a hotplate.

I love the way that the wax has a mind of it’s own when you melt it, you never know what it will do once applied to the card. Every painting is unique and can not be entirely replicated. Everyone will see something different in the picture.

This miniature picture measures 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches and has been protected with an acrylic wax sealer. It will be despatched unmounted for you to display as you wish. The painting is signed on the reverse.
