It was painted in rich, bold colors and the print translates them very well. It was inspired by all the summers I have been spending at a beautiful Brazilian beach. When I walk by the surf, seeing the tiny island far away, I always imagine mermaids playing in the waters or just sitting on the rocks. These feelings permeate all my mermaid paintings.
