"Baby Bunny Two", # 33 of 2008
This is an original, a little (3.5" x 2.5") Colored Pencil and India Ink painting by me, Melody Lea Lamb.
This tiny baby Cottontail is so precious and fragile in the palm of her hand. Remember a portion of the proceeds from this painting benefits the charity, Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue, (Art for Critters Charity of the Month)!
This painting/drawing is an ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals) The Painting is done on Heavy 100% Cotton, Acid Free Illustration Board (1/8"thick) with mostly high quality India Ink and Prismacolor Pencils (I sometimes add a bit of white Acrylic.) It is initialed on the front, signed by the artist (me) on the back, and includes a mention of media used , the sequential ACEO number for this year, and the date it was created. I have painted the edges to give it a polished look and, as with all my paintings, it has been sprayed with a high quality fixative to protect it and prevent smudging. I mail your painting in a clear plastic sleeve, between two pieces of clean cardboard and sealed in a zip bag, (just in case it goes through a rain storm on its way to you) :) PLEASE NOTE: The water mark of my name DOES NOT appear on the original!

How To Spot Fake Art on eBay I have recently become very discouraged by the number of fraudulent works of art on eBay, learn how to protect yourself here Avoid Art Fraud
You should also feel free to contact any artist and inquire about their technique. Look for their website, check out their a eBay AboutMe page, look for their art on the internet. For artists like myself, who continue to strive toward finer works of art and spend many hours on each little piece, this trend of fake art is most unsettling! Art for Critters
What do you get when you combine talented artists with charities in need? Art for Critters.
Artists from around the world, with a desire to help animals in need, have committed to donating a portion of their art sales to help animal charities.
Every little bit helps and each donation will mean another day of food, medical care or just a peaceful nights sleep for some needy critter. Our hats are off to the wonderful, caring workers at these charities and we are happy to help them with our artistic abilities.
