 In the morning mist, a Scottish piper in full dress plays a mournful tune on the bagpipe, lamenting the Glencoe massacre of 300 years ago.  Some even say the glen today is haunted, and swear they can hear the weeping of the MacDonald souls, so tragically cut down, whispering on the wind.  This is an original acrylic painting by Fran Brooks, a professional North Carolina artist. 

This colorful mini painting is collectible, can be framed, used in a doll house or displayed on a small easel. It is standard trading card size and comes in a clear acid free plastic sleeve, rigid toploader and bubble envelope for added protection. Art cards also make nice gifts tucked inside greeting/note cards. The painting has been sprayed with a light coat of varnish to enhance the colors and provide protection.
